The next Batch of Masks is ready!!!

And i did another batch of masks, but i don't know how my future in the US will look like.

It can happen that i have to go back to Germany, depending on that im downsizing my printer workshop.

I will keep you guys updated!

3D Printing against the virus, fight Covid 19, Respirator masks.

Here the first batch of respirator masks!

I took a while for cleaning and fixing but they were ready on Sunday and been donated to the St. Davids south hospital in Austin

Maker's fighting against the virus!!!

After a longer testing phase, a bunch of fails, finally i started to print the Montana mask in small series, female size S, also for kids.
All mask gonna be donated.
Materials in use TPU, PLA, PETG.

 

 

 

 

Modified Nanohack mask Respirator N95

Here my mod of the Nanohack.

Inhale, exhale and additional area to overlap and seal in the chin region. TPU print of the mask body.

How to built it:

1. Print the pieces with 20% infill, without support or rafts.

2. Heat the NanoHack to 55º-60º C with a hairdryer or hot water. The circular part has to be intact, that's why it's thicker so that it doesn't deform.

3. When softening, bring together the nose wings and adjustment wings located on the lower jaw. You can glue them to fix them better if you want.

4. Heat it up again and put it on your face for final adjustments. Make sure it's not too hot! If you feel that there is some part of the mask that does not fit well or is too tight, you can put a small piece of soft rubber in the contact areas.

5. Screw the "cover" on with one or two additional filters. If you use a filter, you can use a circular piece (single or double) of a conventional mask (nonwoven propylene) or add a round facial cotton pad for makeup. Half pad can make breathing easier.

6. Add the elastics/straps.
